GCSE and A-Level Maths is essential to game development, design, and programming. It allows us to tune a player's jump with equations, analyse probability spaces for our next move in chess or monopoly, and model turn-based mechanics in RPGs like Pokémon using arithmetic sequences. #### Maths is just solving puzzles! Maths can become a comfort subject, where the answers are clear and checkable, and preparation sets you up for genuine confidence. Approach it like solving a Sudoku or a crossword (in fact, solving two-way tables uses the exact same logic as Sudoku!).
